Thompson Chiropractic Technique

The Thompson Technique is another method of adjustment that involves analyzing the length of the legs. This technique uses a ‘drop table’ for adjustment, where a gentle thrust is applied to the joints, which in turn, sets the drop piece into motion and targets the specific joint or tissue. After completing a leg check analysis, your chiropractor will determine the type of misalignment – cervical, pelvic, etc,- and then adjusts the legs using a combination of multiple thrusts on various joints.

Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique

Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique involves analyzing the length of the legs, and determining whether a pelvic deficiency is present. Since each person stands and holds their hips in a different way the result can be excessive pressure on one side; over time a difference in leg length may contribute to pain in the hips and leg joints. The Activator Methods technique aims to restore the body by correcting vertebral and pelvic misalignments using an Activator mallet to push and set the joints back into the correct position.

Physiotherapy is a clinical health science and profession that aims to rehabilitate and improve people with movement disorders by using evidence-based, natural methods such as exercise, motivation, adapted equipment, education and advocacy.  Also referred to as physical therapy, physiotherapy involves the treatment of physical dysfunction or injury using rehabilitation and exercise. Physiotherapy assists patients by exercising weak areas and regaining strength that may have been lost.

Pediatric Care

Thousands of infants, children and adolescents benefit from the fruits of regular pediatric, chiropractic care, everyday. Common childhood conditions such as ear infections, asthma and infantile colic - to name a few - have been shown to respond favorably to chiropractic treatments.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aid in recovery and range of motion. 

Massage services are by appointment only.  In order to allow enough time to prepare and relax, we recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment.

A portion of the services offered are not recommended for those persons undergoing treatment for certain health conditions or while taking some medications particularly those with certain allergies, hear ailments, diabetes, or pregnancy.  A referral from your physician may be required prior to treatment.

Be sure to drink plenty of water the day before, the day of, and the day after your massage session.

Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage (30-90 mins) $40 - $107.50

•  Massage modalities that uses various techniques and products to meet the individual needs of our clients.

Hot Stone Massage (30-90 mins) $40 - $107.50

• Massage modality using heated stones of varying shapes and sizes to elicit physical healing and mental relaxation.

Deluxe Hand Special (45 mins) $45

•   Sooth stiff and sore joints while re-hydrating and softening the skin.  This service combines dipping hands into warm paraffin with a hand and forearm massage.

Deluxe Foot Special (60 mins) $65

•  Soothe sore and achy feet.  This service starts with a relaxing foot bath and dipping feet into warm paraffin followed by a foot and lower leg massage.

 Paraffin Dip (15 mins) $20

•  Applied to hands or feet, may also be added to other massage package.

Therapy Packages $300

• Ten 30-minute massage sessions or Five 60-minute massage sessions.
•  All packages and gift certificates expire 1 year from date of issue.
